The Packers have been wrapped up in drama since March, when it was reported that MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers is unhappy with the organization and “wants out” of Green Bay. Since then, the primary focus of nearly all NFL coverage has been about wether or not the future Hall-of-Famer will be returning to Green Bay in 2021. The uncertainty surrounding Rodgers’ future in titletown has been a dark cloud looming over the organization all offseason, a cloud that doubled in size on Tuesday due to a cryptic tweet sent out by Packers All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams.

Over the past several seasons the Green Bay Packers have had the luxury of playing with not just one, but two high caliber running backs – Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams. This offseason, both backs were due for major paydays. The Packers were able to keep their superstar in town, signing Aaron Jones to a four year, 48 million dollar contract at the start of free agency this past March. Williams on the other hand, was forced to sign elsewhere and ended up going to Detroit on a two year, 6 million dollar deal.
